About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Food Processing (FMCG) to lead our production and processing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, operational expertise, and leadership skills to drive performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for production and processing operations
- Overseeing procurement, inventory, and supply chain efficiency
- Driving quality assurance and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO)
- Managing financial performance, budgets, and cost control
- Leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Operations, Food Science, Agriculture, Engineering, or similar
- Minimum 57 years of experience in food processing / manufacturing / FMCG
- Strong experience in production planning & operations
- Supply chain and procurement expertise
- Quality control systems management
- Financial and cost management skills
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a production environment

- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
