About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Baker to join our team in Paarl. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of products including bread, pastries, and confectionery
Ensure consistent product quality and presentation standards
Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering of ingredients
Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards
Supervise and support junior bakery staff where required
Ensure equipment is used and maintained correctly
Assist with production planning to meet customer demand

Requirements

Minimum 2 years relevant retail or FMCG experience (non-negotiable)
Proven baking experience in a commercial or retail bakery environment
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
