About the Role

Well-established Estate based in the Addo region of the Eastern Cape are seeking a Farm Manager to oversee all aspects of farm operations. If you are passionate about agriculture and have a proven track record in farm management, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve production targets.
  • Oversee daily farm activities, including resource allocation, crop production, and maintenance.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, and cost controls to optimise financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices, quality standards, ethical practices and industry regulations.
  • Lead and develop farm staff, ensuring efficiency, motivation, and adherence to policies.
  • Monitor risk management, safety, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of farm management experience, preferably in citrus or fruit production.
  • Strong knowledge of cultivation and management, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
