Job Description

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by targeting hotel groups, restaurants, restaurant chains, game lodges, and hospitality companies across South Africa.

Key activities:

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities within hotels, restaurants, chains, lodges, and other hospitality outlets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, chefs, F&B managers, procurement officers, Executive Housekeepers and hospitality executives.
  • Present and promote Chef Works apparel, highlighting quality, innovation, and suitability for the industry.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through proactive prospecting and pipeline management.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts with clients.
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and client satisfaction.
  • Attend industry trade shows, events, and culinary expos to represent Chef Works and generate leads.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM/database of leads, opportunities, and client interactions

Qualifications and Experience:

3+ years experience in B2B sales, preferably within hospitality, catering supplies, or apparel/uniforms.
Previous experience selling into hotels, restaurants, or lodges is highly advantageous.
A passion for the culinary world and understanding of hospitality operations will be a strong advantage.
A releveant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
