?? ACCOUNTANT VACANCY ALERT ?? ? Accountant ? Kruger National Park ? Luxury Safari Lodge (Live-in) ? Salary: Negotiable (DOE) ? Role Overview: A key financial role responsible for managing full accounting functions within a luxury safari lodge environment, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial control, and efficient day-to-day finance operations. ? Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day finance operations and daily financial data capturing Administer and reconcile debtors and creditors accounts Perform monthly and weekly stock and inventory reconciliations Capture and reconcile cash books accurately Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with financial reporting Support preparation of financial statements Maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance standards Ensure accurate financial record keeping and compliance Work closely with lodge management on financial reporting requirements Utilise accounting systems including SAGE Cloud, Apex, and Pluspoint Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation where required ? Skills Required: Strong accounting and financial reporting ability High attention to detail and numerical accuracy Strong organisational and deadline management skills Ability to work under pressure in a remote lodge environment Strong integrity, discretion, and confidentiality Experience with accounting software systems ? Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 (essential) Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance Minimum 4 years accounting experience Hospitality or lodge finance experience advantageous Strong working knowledge of SAGE Cloud, Apex, or similar systems ?
