About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the finance operations of our luxury safari lodge in the Kruger National Park. This live-in role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance operations and capture financial data accurately
- Administer and reconcile debtors and creditors accounts
- Conduct monthly and weekly stock and inventory control
- Capture and reconcile cash books and general ledger accounts
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Maintain strong corporate governance and internal control procedures
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 4 years experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Hospitality accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in SAGE Cloud, Apex, and Pluspoint
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and professionalism
