Alberton: Senior Accounting Manager – Property posted by Hire Resolve

Location: Joburg South Region, Alberton

Position Overview:
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to assist our client’s accounting director in managing all the Multi-company group accounting, and all the transactions/ transfers between group companies. (Forty companies)

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the financial reporting process for property development projects, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
– Develop and monitor project budgets and forecasts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
– Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management on project performance and financial health.
– Collaborate with project managers, finance team, and external partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
– Provide support and guidance to the accounting team on project-related financial matters.
– Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– Any accounting associations (e.g. SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA, etc.) Preferred
– 5+ Years of experience managing accounts within a similar industry( e.g. property, real estate, etc.)
– Able or residing in the Joburg South Region
– Valid drivers license and vehicle
– Experienced with both accounts payable, receivable, invoices, and all other transactions and transfers between a group of companies.
– Prior experience managing accounts of 30+ Group of companies preferred
