About the Role
We are seeking two Junior Orchard Managers to join our team in Aliwal North, South Africa. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities on our orchard farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal tree health and productivity
- Implement and enforce integrated pest management strategies
- Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and maintenance
- Collaborate with the farming team to achieve production targets
- Perform administrative tasks related to farm operations
Requirements
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
- Some farming background
- Computer literate
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong management skills
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Valid drivers license
