About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Market Development Representative to join our team in Amanzimtoti, KZN. As an integral part of our sales and marketing efforts, you will be responsible for developing spazas, mini-supermarkets, and tuckshops on behalf of BevCo, with a focus on building relationships with informal retail clients and ensuring company assets are managed per BevCo governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage and open relationships with outlets on behalf of BevCo
  • Seed BevCos portfolio into a defined area and large channel of informal retailers
  • Build and retain an active base of informal retail clients and constantly service that base weekly/monthly
  • Facilitate informal retailers to direct BevCo purchases from the local wholesalers, bulk breakers, and/or distributor
  • Ensure company assets (refrigeration; signage) are managed per BevCo governance requirements

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
  • Up to 2 years experience in FMCG sales
  • Basic knowledge of PC or potential to acquire it
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

Qualifications

  • Completed Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
  • Relevant experience in sales (FMCG industry)
