Financial Manager Brackenfell Bellville Cape Town
Our client in Engineering services is looking for a Financial Manager with 7 years plus experience you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with financial regulations. Professional certification such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA is preferred.

Min Requirements and Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Experience in the Engineering / Technology / Telecommunication Industry
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 10 finance staff
- Team Management – Lead and develop the finance team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
- Full Financial Management and Reporting
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Forecast and Budgeting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management.
- Cash Flow Management – Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Internal Controls and Compliance
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Strategic Planning Support strategic planning initiatives with financial analysis and insights.
- Participate in business development and investment decision-making processes.
