About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to join our team in Benoni, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store and ensuring seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing, directing and monitoring the stores’ pickers, packers and drivers
- Picking and Packing orders
- Receiving Stock and the overall quality control for all received items
- Maintaining an accurate stores database on Pastel Evolution
- Maintaining a LIFO system of stock in the stores
- Handling stock queries from our sales team
- Managing and identifying stock variances and interrogating the Pastel Evolution database
- Reduction of stock variances
- Accurate annual, weekly and monthly spot stock checks
- Maintaining a store’s housekeeping program to keep the store’s environment safe and clean
- Continuously monitoring and directing the efficient allocation of storage bays for stock allocation
- Clear bin and stock identification of products and label management
- Reduce errors on picking slips and improve customer service
- Check and sign off on the loading of vehicles for the drivers
- Bringing any issues to the attention of management that may adversely affect the day-to-day operations of the business
Requirements
- Matric essential
- Qualification in management or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial position
