About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Attorney to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial law and a strong track record of drafting commercial agreements. M&A exposure is highly advantageous, as well as tax/financial background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independent drafting of commercial agreements
  • Strong contract drafting skills
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of corporate and commercial transactions (incl. M&As, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Deal Structuring, Transactional Tax, etc.)
  • Fully computer literate (incl. MS Word, Excel, etc.)

Requirements

  • Specializing in Commercial LAW only
  • Minimum 6 years experience in specifically commercial law

Qualifications

  • LLB and B. Com (finance) degrees
  • LLM in corporate and commercial law is advantageous
