About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate stock control and efficient goods handling, while maintaining compliance with company procedures and supporting operational efficiency and service delivery in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support stocktake processes
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Ensure correct storage, labelling, and handling of stock
- Apply FIFO principles in stock management
- Monitor goods received and dispatched for accuracy and quality
- Maintain accurate system records and data integrity
- Ensure warehouse procedures and operational standards are followed
- Supervise and guide warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Address operational challenges and resolve day-to-day issues
- Maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support operational reporting and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiencies
Requirements
- Diploma or qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain
- 6 – 8 years experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse / ERP systems & SAP
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and stock control
