About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to join our team in Bloemfontein, South Africa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all operational activities across FMCG retail and wholesale syndicated sales and merchandising services. Your primary focus will be on driving consistent operational excellence, improving efficiency, and maintaining high standards across synergised service operations to support the company’s growth and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational plans to optimise client product availability and representation in retail and wholesale outlets
- Drive sales and merchandising excellence through effective planning, execution, and monitoring of key performance indicators
- Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and support
- Lead and manage a distributed team to achieve operational objectives and drive business growth
- Collaborate with retail and wholesale partners across large areas to deliver exceptional service
Requirements
- National certificate in business administration, Retail Operations Management, or equivalent qualification
- 2 years of experience in operations within the retail and wholesale sector
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, sales, and merchandising excellence in a complex, fast-paced environment
