About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Administration Clerk to join our team in processing and analysing school fee exemption application forms. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English and Afrikaans), computer literate, and able to work accurately under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately track the volume of exemption applications received and processed.
- Ensure all invoices are requested, accurate, and sent to the relevant parties promptly.
- Monitor invoice payments and follow up where necessary.
- Liaise with the Tracing Department to ensure all applications are traced before processing, in a timely manner.
- Ensure exemptions are processed in line with the Schools Act and the Exemption Regulations.
- Prepare and finalise exemption outcome letters within required deadlines and in accordance with company standards.
- Work collaboratively with management to coordinate team efforts and overtime scheduling when needed, including occasional weekend work.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of exemptions delivered to clients.
- Organise and manage the delivery or couriering of documentation as required.
Requirements
- Proficient in both English and Afrikaans (reading, writing, and comprehension).
- Computer literate, with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word .
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Willingness to work weekends when required.
