Hire Resolves client is looking for a skilled Technician to join their company. The company is launching a new range of industrial floor cleaning machines and is seeking a highly competent Technician with proven experience in this specialist industry. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who understands the technical demands of the cleaning equipment sector and can support both pre- and post-sales service requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair industrial floor cleaning machines (walk-behind and ride-on scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, etc.).
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot issues on-site and in the workshop.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machines.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and customer base.
• Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and warranty documentation.
• Train end-users and clients on proper machine use and maintenance routines.
• Support stock management of spares and consumables.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 35 years technical experience in the floor cleaning equipment industry.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and battery-powered cleaning machines.
• Trade-tested technician or equivalent technical qualification preferred but not essential
• Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
