About the Role
The Hiring House is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex systems in radio astronomy, radar, satellite, or avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems in radio astronomy, radar, satellite, or avionics systems
- Integrate, test, and verify complicated systems with RF, digital, and mechanical elements
- Apply Systems Engineering across multiple lifecycle stages of a system or product
- Model-Based Systems Engineering and use Computer-aided Systems Engineering Tools (e.g. CORE/GENESYS)
- Control systems engineering processes and procedures
- Establish and manage baselines
- Implement engineering change control
Requirements
- B.Tech (Eng) with 6+ years RELEVANT experience; OR
- B.Eng/B.Sc (Eng) with 4+ years RELEVANT experience; OR
- M.Eng/M.Sc (Eng) with 3+ years RELEVANT experience; OR
- PhD/D.Eng with 1+ years RELEVANT experience, AND
- Must be eligible to register as PrEng/PrEng Tech with ECSA
