Job Summary
- Complete degree in education
- Post graduate degrees or diplomas are beneficial
- SACE registration is required
Skills and experience required:
- Applicants must have a successful track record as a Deputy Principal / Principal / Head of School.
- Applicants must have lead schools with impressive academic results
- Strong people management and leadership experience is required
- We are looking for a candidate with strong business and financial acumen who has the ability to assist with the management of the commercial side of this school
Job description:
- Achieve academic strategy and targets
- Analyse and respond to all academic and school issues
- Oversees the academic policies and procedures for all staff and ensure continuous improvement of these policies and procedures
- Manage, develop and mentor all staff members
- Develop and maintain the school vision
- Responsible for the wellbeing, health and safety of students, staff, parents and visitors while at the school
- Develop strategies for growth
- Prepare and maintain budgets
- Prepare reports for shareholders
- Ensure maximum profitability is achieved
- Maintain customer service to ensure customer retention
- Oversee full finance management function for the school
- Manage cash flow and expenditure
- Reporting on profit and loss
- Recruitment and selection of academic staff
- Host parent meetings
- Maintain an excellent reputation for the brand and manage marketing activities
- Maintain world class facilities and stay up to date with advancements in the education space.
