About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our 4-star luxury hotel at the CT V&A Waterfront property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel finance or hospitality accounting, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse budgets, forecasts, management accounts, variance reports
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and recommendations
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering accountability and succession planning
  • Balance operational detail and executive-level reporting
  • Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in hotel finance or hospitality accounting
  • Proven leadership as an Assistant Controller
  • Strong business, auditing, and commercial acumen
  • Proficiency in POS and PMS systems
  • ACCPAC (Sage 300)/similar accounting packages
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
