Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Safe operation of the Casting Machine
• Constant monitoring of Casting Machine
• Compliance with approved SOPs
• Manage quality standards in accordance with set targets and guidelines
• Perform daily checks of casting machinery
• Ensure smooth operation of billet casting
• Maintain housekeeping during operation
• Meeting planned targets
• Compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Adhere to shift hand-over protocols at work station

Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:

• Grade 12
• Previous experience in a production / process environment will be advantageous to successful candidates
• Basic mechanical/technical knowledge
• Bilingual and literate in communication as well as numeracy (calculation requirements)
• Proactive and quick thinking
• Ability to work under challenging conditions
• Must have basic knowledge of Health & Safety Rules
• In good health, physically fit
