Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Finance & Reporting Manage the full finance function, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and supplier payments. Handle creditors and debtors, ensuring accurate records and timely transactions. Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and all other statutory returns via SARS eFiling. Manage all SARS correspondence and ensure compliance with tax legislation. Produce monthly management accounts, assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare for year-end audits. Ensure compliance and submissions to the Building Industry Bargaining Council (BIBC). Maintain and improve financial systems, controls, and processes. Support senior management with financial reporting and strategic input. Finance & Reporting Process fortnightly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Handle staff contracts, onboarding documentation, and personnel file management. Assist with disciplinary processes, including attending to arbitrations, hearings, and CCMA matters. Support HR-related compliance in line with labour regulations and bargaining council requirements. Requirements Proven experience in a full-function finance role, ideally in a construction, manufacturing, or project-based environment. Experience handling HR admin and labour-related matters is essential. Sound knowledge of SARS e-Filing, statutory compliance, and BIBC regulations. Strong working knowledge of Excel and Pastel. Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounting function of the business. The candidate should be able to provide leadership, achieve financial and operational efficiencies with the business, and will be accountable for driving overall business performance. Duties and Responsibilities: Providing leadership and overseeing financial accounting, driving business growth and monitoring business performance Finance governance and monitoring Driving continuous improvement in the finance function Working capital management: Debtor management, supplier relationships with key suppliers (maintained) and timely payments, and stock management Yearly financial audits and tax and deferred tax calculations Driving and managing the preparation of the budgets and forecasts, including timely submission to group Reviewing and signing off on bi-weekly/monthly payroll reports Ensuring statutory compliance Understanding and providing insights into manufacturing and product costing Facilitating the import process Skills and Qualifications: BCom Accounting Degree 5 years of commercial experience 2 years of management experience

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: Manage and support finance team Review month end files each month Review management packs each month Presentation and discussion of management packs to senior management each month Submission of monthly management packs and quarterly updates and financial information to shareholders/investors Review of vat and income tax submissions Key person responsible for liaison with auditors, to schedule and complete all audits, within tight deadlines, which includes dealing with all queries and submission of all disclosures and requested information. Review of individual and consolidated financial statements Managing the creditors control function Review and approval of all payment requisitions Review of all legal documentation linked to each deal, to make sure finance and legal align Key person responsible for liaising with investors regarding financial information requested from them on a monthly / quarterly or ad hoc basis Managing the tax efficiency between the group companies Preparation of a cashflow and profit forecast on a quarterly basis and preparation of a comparison between budget vs actual Presentation of the forecasts to senior management on a quarterly basis Deregistration of older funds, companies and trusts in the group Treasury management Risk management Overall management of the property portfolio Requirements: CIMA or someone with a bachelors degree with substantial experience At least 3 years of work experience in Finance post articles Compliance experience would be beneficial Must be highly competent in excel and Advanced excel skills would be beneficial Financial modelling experience would be beneficial Must have High Level of Integrity Must have good social skills and be able to adapt easily to any situation Must be Organized with the ability stay calm and to drive various tasks to completion at the same time Must be able to communicate with different stakeholders clearly and effectively Must have the ability to identify risk/ problems and problem solve it to minimize risk Must be able to operate on his/her own but also to work well within the team

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of accounting practices and managing financial reporting across subsidiaries. The role also involves overseeing financial-related projects from start to finish, providing advice and support to management to help facilitate informed business decisions Qualified CA(SA). * 5 years of experience in a finance environment, as a Finance Manager with at least 3 years in audit management. * 3 years of leadership or management experience (preferred). * Retail industry experience is a plus. * Strong understanding of financial controls and governance. * Knowledge of the business, industry trends, and key stakeholders. * Experience with accounting for foreign currencies and consolidations is desirable. * Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and financial systems. * Willingness to travel across Africa on an ad-hoc basis. * South African citizenship is required * 3 Days a week in the office PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of accounting practices and managing financial reporting across subsidiaries. The role also involves overseeing financial-related projects from start to finish, providing advice and support to management to help facilitate informed business decisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Must be a team player, (need to give info on managing a team, title as Finance Manager and have size on teams available as well) Contribution to Strategy: * Provide input into and support the implementation of the finance strategy aligned with the companys annual business goals. * Oversee the communication and execution of action plans, including specifications, timelines, and budgets. Team Management: * Set clear, specific, and measurable objectives for the team, driving their performance and contribution. * Motivate, inspire, and foster a positive team culture by recognizing and celebrating successes. Management Accounts and Statutory Reporting: * Manage critical financial processes, such as CEO and executive reports, new accounting standards, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and annual audits. * Handle various business reports including store income statements, financial reports for executive committees, and more. Treasury Management: * Oversee all banking relationships, systems, and payments for the company. * Manage store deposits and card transactions across all African countries. Stock and Gross Profits: * Ensure the accurate recording and analysis of inventory, covering various product categories and monitoring effective gross profit margins. * Review and reconcile inventory import/export entries. Compliance Management: * Ensure compliance with South African Reserve Bank regulations and relevant laws (e.g., VAT acts) related to imports and exports. * Work with country financial managers to ensure compliance with local regulations across African countries. Policies and Procedures: * Maintain standardized treasury policies, including cash balance management, counterparty risk, and repatriation priorities. Tax Management: * Oversee the timely submission and payment of tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax. * Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of tax in accordance with IFRS or local GAAP. Ad-Hoc Tasks and Projects: * Assist in various ad-hoc tasks and involvement in financial projects as required.
