Job Description

Job title: HR Officer Division/Department: HR Department Number of reports: None Reports to: CEO Overall Responsibility: Provides HR administrative support and serves as a resource for employees. Provide operational HR support and ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, processes, and employee lifecycle activities. In alignment with organisational and legal requirements. Main responsibilities: General HR Administration Duties Perform general HR administration duties Maintain Employee Files and all relevant HR documentation Revise, update and Maintain Job Descriptions/Job Profiles Employee Take on: Preparation of Employment Offers and other relevant information and documents Conduct induction and onboarding with new employees in conjunction with HODs Tracking of completion of onboarding process Revise and company policies and procedures Train employees on policies Support Finance with Audit Monthly HR KPI Dashboard input Maintain Organograms Compliance Administration POPIA BBBEE Ensure EE compliance and submitting of reports. Recruitment and Selection Coordinate and manage the recruitment process (advertising, screening, scheduling interviews, regrets) Conducting interview Liaise closely with HODs Establish relationships with recruitment agencies and maintain the preferred supplier list Payroll General Pay runs Payroll Input and Processing monthly administration Query Management All Regulatory filing and submissions (UIF, SDL, PAYE, ETI, EMP501 etc.) Other filing and submissions (insurance, pay-me-now etc) Filing and reporting Data Capturing and Admin Industrial Relations Ensure consistent and effective management of IR issues in line with the company policies and procedures and according to legislative requirements (with support from IR Outsourced Partner) Responsible for all Industrial Relations actions (in conjunction with Outsourcing Partner) including, but not limited to; Disciplinary Action Grievances Disputes Retrenchment Employee Engagement Answer questions and act as the liaison between Management and employees Drive the Employee Forum Handle Employees Queries Support with Engagement Surveys Execute the Reward and Recognition Program Training and Development Coordinating Manage the Training Calendar Arrange training interventions Track training records Follow up with managers on the implementation/ROI on training completed Present training where relevant Manager the Bursary and learnership program Performance Management Program Support Coordinate performance review cycles Track performance documentation Support managers with documentation and processes Please note if you do not hear from us with 3 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
