Cape Town City Centre: Integration Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities – Support the integration of mechanical, hardware, software, and RF subsystems into complete platforms – Assist with system-level testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities – Conduct functional testing, performance evaluations, and verification of integrated systems – Prepare test documentation, reports, integration notes, and technical feedback – Provide on-site support during client demonstrations, field testing, and integration work – Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system performance – Assist in resolving technical issues identified during testing or field operations – Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across integration and testing processes – Contribute to configuration control and documentation updates as part of integration workflows Experience and Qualifications – BEng in Mechatronic Engineering or higher – Up to 3 years of post-graduation experience, graduates welcome – Strong problem-solving ability with a willingness to learn and take initiative – Practical, hands-on engineering mindset with the ability to work methodically – Ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams – Willingness and ability to travel for testing, client support, and field integration work – Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
