Job Description but not limited to: The Function: The Buyer’s Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Buyer. This role is responsible for assisting in the sourcing, ordering, and tracking of products, ensuring the smooth flow of information between suppliers, buyers, and internal departments. The Buyer’s Assistant helps maintain product records and monitors stock levels. Assist Buyer with day-to-day administrative tasks such as purchase order creation, product data entries, and record-keeping. • Communicate with suppliers to request samples, confirm product details, and follow up on deliveries. • Monitor stock levels, product availability, and lead times to ensure timely replenishment. • Liaise with internal departments (e.g. stores, logistics, and finance) to ensure accurate flow of product and information through the company. • Maintain product databases, ensuring accuracy of pricing, codes, and descriptions. • Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
