Company and Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Interior or Industrial Designer to join our team and undertake design projects from short term exhibitions to permanent shopfitting installations. The successful candidate will deal with design, conceptual development, occasional liaising with clients and on-site project management. The goal is to design practical spaces, exhibition booths and events that are visually pleasing and communicate the clients brand successfully. Key Responsibilities: Undertake design project from concept to presentation Taking the brief from account executives Interpret and translate client needs into rough sketches. 3D conceptualization rendering and presentation. Creation of technical drawings for estimation and construction Work closely with estimators, sales team and production teams. Occasional site visits and measuring of venues. Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices. Occasional overtime expected. Job Experience & Skills Required: Proven working experience in exhibition or interior design. Expertise in space planning, layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations. Proficiency in Revit, 3D Max, Fusion, AutoCAD and Corel Draw. Ability to work under pressure on very short deadlines. Able to work individually or as a team. Full understanding of construction and decorative materials including properties and capabilities.
