Job Specification They operate at the intersection of search intelligence, performance marketing and brand storytelling Lead the development, coordination and execution of high-performance social media campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Meta platforms Strategic thinker who understands how social media integrates with SEO, paid media and broader digital strategy The successful candidate will work closely with: Our SEO team to extract insights that inform content strategy Designers who execute the visual storytelling of campaigns Clients across diverse industries Leadership to align campaigns with measurable business outcomes Develop strategic monthly social media content plans aligned with client objectives Create high quality written content for organic and paid social campaigns Manage and optimise Meta advertising campaigns Coordinate scheduling and publishing across platforms Interpret campaign analytics and report on performance Liaise directly with clients regarding content approvals and campaign direction Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure search aligned social strategy Stay current with developments in Meta, AI driven search and digital marketing trends Contribute to internal marketing initiative The incumbent must be confident and competent in working with the latest AI tools Understanding where AI enhances efficiency and insight Using AI to assist research, ideation and structural drafting Critically evaluating and refining AI outputs Maintaining human strategic oversight and brand integrit Minimum Reuirements Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field 3 to 5 years experience in an agency environment in a similar role Demonstrated experience managing Meta advertising campaigns Strong understanding of performance metrics and analytics Working knowledge of SEO principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience integrating organic and paid strategy Intellectually curious and motivated to stay ahead of digital trends Comfortable with new technologies, particularly AI tools Strategically minded and commercially aware Detail oriented and administratively organised Able to manage multiple projects without compromising quality Strong communicator who can articulate ideas clearly Problem solver who takes initiative Kindly note that by submitting your application for this career opportunity you agree that Guardian Recruiting may use your application for the purpose of the recruitment and selection of the said position and this information may be shared with the relevant stakeholders in the business.
