About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Architect to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for leading architectural projects from concept through to construction, ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept to construction.
- Produce detailed design documentation, including working drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site measurements and perform regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage municipal submission processes and secure approvals.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including NBR and SANS 10400.
Requirements
- Strong design and technical detailing skills.
- Excellent project coordination and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in Architecture.
- Registered as a Professional Architect with SACAP.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience across retail, commercial, and residential projects.
