About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Permit Administrator to join our dynamic Planning team at Stage Zero. As a key member of our team, you will ensure our installations are fully compliant with utility regulations by managing all permit-related processes with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate utility application packs for Stage Zero products.
  • Track and manage applications from submission to approval across various platforms.
  • Engage with utility providers and build strong, professional relationships.
  • Interpret and apply utility policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Monitor changes to utility regulations and alert the team accordingly.
  • Deliver results independently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant diploma in business administration, electrical engineering, or a related field (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • 5 years’ experience in utility application processes
  • 5 years’ experience in a planning or renewable energy environment
  • 2 years working experience with GIS platforms
  • Experience with GIS tools (e.g., Google Earth, Municipal Mapviewer)
  • Ability to read technical drawings (electrical SLDs, site plans)
  • Familiarity with municipal online submission platforms
