An exciting opportunity for a top end Restaurant Manager for an exclusive 5* establishement in the Winelands area of Cape Town. Exciting role, as this is a day trade position, and evening assistance only on odd occasions. Requirements: Matric, relevant experience as Senior Restaurant Manager Own transport valid driver’s licence Excellent communication skills Good management skills with the ability to manage a small team to deliver exceptional service People’s person with an understanding of service delivery Working hours from 07h00 till cash up. Monday to Friday Monthly salary plus increase after 3 months plus a performance bonus. Duties: General Management of restaurant staff, following proper disciplinary procedures and ensuring establishment maintain high service levels General management of resturant buildings and surrounding areas Making sure guest’s requests and needs are met and attended to Be available to assist in different areas and departments Staff rostering and maintaining good staff relationships Always available to perform tasks are required by the company in all areas of hospitality Always maintaining contact and good communication with colleagues Stock control – particularly focusing on Beverages, but including Operational Equipment Purchases of goods Managing menus and winelist. Managing recycling & cleanliness of guest and staff areas General administration General email, telephone and direct communication with guests Dealing with restaurant-related bookings, enquiries and managing Dineplan Continuous training of staff members as needed Overseeing daily staff duty performance If you are a professional Restaurant Manager, can comfortably operate in the 5* space, then this opportunity might just be what you are looking for.
