About the Role
Our client is a growing technology solutions provider focused on delivering advanced data and business intelligence solutions to global clients. They offer a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities to work on impactful, client-facing projects. We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft BI Developer to join their team in Cape Town City Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end BI solutions using the Microsoft Fabric platform
- Build and manage Fabric components including Lakehouses, Dataflows (Gen2), Notebooks, and Data Pipelines
- Contribute to architecture design for scalability and performance
- Implement data governance, alerting, and monitoring within the Fabric ecosystem
- Lead client-facing discussions, capturing and translating requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor and upskill junior team members to grow technical capabilities
Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on, dedicated experience as a BI Developer
- Recent, hands-on exposure to Microsoft Fabric
- In-depth knowledge of Lakehouses, Dataflows (Gen2), Notebooks, and Data Pipelines
- Strong understanding of Fabric Architecture and best practices for scalability
- Experience setting up data governance, alerting, and monitoring within Fabric
