About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Executive to lead our expansion into the South African and broader African market. As the first on-the-ground Senior Sales Executive in South Africa, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of enterprise-level deals with major dealer groups, establishing the company as the leading provider of automotive reputation-management solutions in the region, and driving revenue growth through uncapped commission on new Annual Recurring Revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute the South African and African go-to-market strategy; own revenue targets for the region.
- Identify and close deals with top dealer groups, including Motus Holdings, Super Group, NMI, Bidvest Automotive, and others.
- Build relationships at C-suite, dealer principal, and marketing director levels.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline through targeted outreach, events, and partnerships.
- Lead discovery, demonstrations, and proposals; map platform capabilities to client needs (Google visibility, review volume, CSI, complaint reduction, sales lead generation).
- Negotiate and finalize subscription agreements; ensure smooth handover to onboarding and customer success teams.
- Provide insight on competitive positioning, pricing, and market dynamics to leadership.
- Act as the face of the company in the South African automotive industry, building credibility and brand awareness.
Requirements
- Deep network in South African automotive retail, including C-suite, dealer principals, and group marketing leadership.
- 5 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Hunter mentality with experience breaking into new accounts and markets.
- Skilled in managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Self-starter capable of operating autonomously with limited local support.
- Based in South Africa (preferably Cape Town or Gauteng) and able to travel domestically.
