CIOVITA is looking for a dynamic Graphic Designer to join our design studio team. The position requires creating designs for custom cycling apparel from a set custom offering, using 3D software. Taking direction from the clients brief, applying creative ideas to our custom apparel range, managing his/her own print tests with the print room, and doing quality checks to ensure we meet both the customer’s and productions needs.
Responsibilities:
- Create designs for customers according to their briefs.
- Make the required changes until a design is approved.
- Manage your workflow to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Accurately follow the workflow process with checklists in place.
- Do print tests to ensure the colours match the approved artwork.
- Redraw logos where required.
- Prepare artwork for print according to printer specifications.
- Manage the sampling process with the relevant departments.
Requirements:
- Advanced skillset in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- A methodical and precise approach to work and an ability to work around tight deadlines.
- An extremely good eye and attention to detail.
- Good time management.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to follow design instructions according to a brief.
- You will need to be creative and come up with relevant designs in the event that a customer needs assistance or doesnt have a design in mind.
- Be a good team player and fit in with the rest of the team, handle overflow work from team members when needed.
- A keen interest in AI and advanced design tools & methods.
- Fast learning ability to learn and adapt to new software.
Experience required:
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a graphic design position.
