About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Relations Officer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage employee relations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Disciplinary codes
- Grievance procedures
- Implementation of the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Skills Development Act etc
- Ensure health and safety regulations are implemented and followed
- HR manuals and procedures
- Educational Assistance of employees
- Representation of the company in disciplinary proceedings
- Conduct site visits
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Labour Relations or a similar qualification would be advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in construction or civil engineering industries
- Planning and organisational skills
- Code 8 drivers license and own transport
- Must be able to deal with administrative work
- Advanced computer skills
