Job Description
A managed IT Support and Services provider that offers comprehensive IT solutions, including network infrastructure, 24/7 technical support, cybersecurity, cloud services, and hardware/software procurement is seeking a Level 2 Engineer to manage complex infrastructure, lead strategic transitions, and bridge the gap between traditional support and cutting-edge AI integration.
Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and optimize hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and virtualization stacks (VMware).

Strategic Transitions: Lead the evolution of client environments from reactive MSP models to proactive, Managed Intelligent Provider (MIP) frameworks.

Security & Compliance: Implement and audit frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001; manage risk assessments and NIST-aligned controls.

AI Integration: Utilize TensorFlow/PyTorch and data analytics platforms to automate workflows and generate predictive maintenance insights.

Threat Intelligence: Manage AI-driven security tools (SIEM/EDR) for advanced threat detection and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:

Strong experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing hybrid cloud environments.

Deep proficiency in AWS, Azure, and VMware.

Advanced knowledge of networking and virtualization technologies.

Hands-on exposure to machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Experience using AI tools and data analytics platforms for automation and predictive insights.

Solid understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, specifically NIST.

Experience in risk assessment, formal audits, and control implementation.

Proven ability to lead large-scale IT transformations.

Experience transitioning clients from reactive MSP models to proactive MIP (Managed Intelligent Provider) frameworks.

Strong skills in Agile methodology and organizational change management.

Advanced skills in threat detection and incident response.

Experience with AI-driven security tools including SIEM and endpoint protection.

Mobility: Must possess a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel to client sites as required.

Education/Experience: Prior experience in a Tier 2 or Senior Support role with a focus on project delivery.
