About the Role

Our client based in Kempton Park, Johannesburg is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for a contract position. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality welds and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings and blue prints
Set up welding equipment and weld components in various positions using TIG welding
Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and structural integrity using appropriate tools
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
Ensure that all work is completed to meet quality standards and customer specifications

Requirements

2 to 3 years experience as a welder in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Knowledge of welding techniques, TIG welding
