Overview:
Our client, a globally recognised skincare brand operating in over 160 countries, is seeking a newly qualified CA(SA) with an interest in systems, technology, and process improvement to join their team as a Systems Development Analyst.
This is a unique and non-traditional role designed for individuals looking to move away from pure auditing or finance into a more dynamic, business-facing role. The role will evolve over time, offering exposure across various areas of the head office and the opportunity to drive meaningful operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of business processes across multiple functions within the organisation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies through systems, automation, and AI-driven solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse workflows and recommend enhancements
- Assist in the development and implementation of system improvements and process optimisation initiatives
- Support the integration of new technologies into existing business operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the business
Requirements:
- CA(SA) qualification (newly qualified or up to 2 years post-articles)
- Strong interest in systems, technology, and AI (certificates in related courses advantageous – Python/SQL, Power BI, automation tools, or AI fundamentals)
- Exposure to process improvement, automation, or data-driven environments advantageous
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a curiosity for how businesses operate beyond finance
- Ability to think critically and challenge existing processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
