About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a professional and versatile Junior Bookkeeper & Receptionist to join their premium architectural systems company at their Midrand branch. This role combines frontline client engagement with essential financial administration, ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to grow within a high-end manufacturing and design environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-of-House Excellence: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, managing the switchboard, greeting guests, and ensuring a professional reception area.
- Financial Administration: Assist the finance team with the processing of supplier invoices, capturing data into the accounting system, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Debtors & Creditors Support: Help manage accounts receivable and payable functions, including following up on outstanding payments and reconciling statements.
- Office Coordination: Manage incoming and outgoing courier services, order office supplies, and provide general administrative support to the Midrand team.
- Document Management: Ensure all financial and project-related documentation is filed correctly and is easily accessible for audits.
Requirements
Experience: 23 years of experience in a dual Reception and Bookkeeping/Accounts Assistant role.
Education: Grade 12 essential; a Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, or SAP).
