About the Role
A client of ours based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking a reliable and hands-on Storeman / Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of warehouse, administration, reception, and customer service duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer orders
- Follow up on Cape Town orders
- Pack and prepare shipments for dispatch
- Coordinate with courier companies for local deliveries
- Receive, bin, and record incoming stock
- Conduct stock control, stock counts, and inventory management
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse/store
- Assist walk-in customers
- Answer telephone calls and manage email correspondence
- Perform general reception and administrative duties
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of exhibition stands when required
- Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by management
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
