About the Role

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team and help streamline our manufacturing operations. The Production Planner will be responsible for developing and executing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products, optimal resource utilization, and efficient workflow. This role plays a key part in coordinating between departments, maintaining inventory levels, and identifying areas for continuous improvement in the production process.

Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts and customer orders
Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure on-time availability of materials and resources
Monitor production performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks or delays
Maintain accurate records of production planning, inventory levels, and work orders
Analyze data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support lean manufacturing practices
Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure production meets quality standards
Participate in planning meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus
