About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the construction industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager who is a qualified Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, cost estimations, contract administration and procurement within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with cash flow and scheduling.
- Drafting and reviewing cash flow and scheduling documents.
- Meeting deadlines consistently.
- Maintaining server updates continuously.
- Ensuring accurate filing of all documentation.
- Overseeing procurement processes.
- Supervising consultant appointments and performance.
- Monitoring contractor appointments and performance.
- Adhering to all established processes and protocols.
- Managing contracts, including JBCC and NEC agreements.
- Verifying invoice accuracy and validity.
- Conducting invoice reviews.
- Examining appointments, additional fees, and related matters.
- Facilitating successful completion of Auditor General audits.
Requirements
- BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification
- Registered with SACQSP as a Professional Quantity Surveyor
- 3 years post registration experience
- Experience with JBCC and NEC contracts
- Problem solving and processing skills
- Skilled in communication and interaction with stakeholders
