About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cold Store Admin Supervisor to join our client’s team in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. As a key member of the administration team, you will be responsible for overseeing all stock movement documentation and ensuring adherence to SOPs. With a strong focus on food safety and quality protocols, this role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all stock movement documentation and ensure adherence to SOPs
- Maintain accurate records for audit purposes and oversee administrative staff
- Compile operational statistics and report on deliveries and stock activities
- Manage stationery supplies, including ordering and issuing
- Oversee stock issuing, picking processes, and generation of Goods Issued Vouchers
- Communicate discrepancies and finalise delivery processes
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality protocols
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in an administration role or similar within the food industry
- Knowledge of bonded procedures and processes (preferred)
- Understanding of inventory procedures
- Understanding of customs procedures and requirements
- Familiarity with HACCP and Food Safety standards
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) (desired)
- Basic administrative duties and procedures
Qualifications
- NQF level 5 Certificate in supply chain, and/or General office administration (required)
- NQF level 6 Certificate in supply chain, and/or General office administration (preferred)
