About the Role
Deka Minas (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to join their team in Johannesburg, South Africa. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for international educators to explore a new educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and provide instruction in English
- Develop and deliver a lesson plan that utilize a broad range of appropriate teaching techniques and strategies
- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons
- Providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work
- Listening actively and effectively in order to identify and solve problems
- Facilitating students’ learning and building their confidence
- Participating in Maths Department staff meetings and professional development
- Planning, researching activities and special events

Requirements
- Citizen of South Africa or RSA passport
- Relevant teaching degree
- Age limit: 23 to 58 years old
- Minimum of 2 Years teaching experience in Maths subject area
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to South African customs and norms
