About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team in Cape Town as a General Worker. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks across the warehouse and yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and offloading trucks and containers
- Picking and checking orders accurately
- Receiving stock from production and allocating it to the correct location
- Performing regular stock replenishment
- Adhering to FIFO principles
- Working with power tools and building/crating pallet frames for filters
- Assisting with packing of goods and stock take
- Assisting with assembling micro and family drip products
- Maintaining housekeeping in and around the yard
- Providing assistance wherever possible when asked by management
- Maintaining standards within the yard
- Reporting company information and upholding health and safety standards
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Prepared for labour-intensive work
- Reliable transportation
- Valid forklift licence
- Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Drivers license
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
