About the Role
The Key Account Manager WC- role at Unique Personnel Ltd is a critical position that drives targeted coverage, sales, distribution, and retail presence across the entire inland landscape for company products. The successful candidate will develop and execute innovative, scalable strategies to achieve sales goals, secure broad channel coverage, and build meaningful, data-driven connections with key account partners in the Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Analyse the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Participate in sales meetings and regular training.
- Negotiate and use persuasion skills to overcome objections.
- On time reporting and completion of daily administration objectives.
- The implementation of promotions when applicable.
- Provide ongoing market intelligence to management.
Requirements
- Completed Matric
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales Management or equivalent advantageous
- Minimum 3- 5 years experience within a KAM role
