About the Role

The Multi Skilled Employee will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of presentation, and ensuring the quality of products in our cinemas. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in various roles, including Cashier, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers, and other functions as requested by supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of products offered by Ster-Kinekor as well as promotional/marketing activities to enable upsell to our guests
  • Ensure presentation standards are adhered to (age restrictions displayed, synopsis file updated, posters are neat and updated, F&B and Products displays, disclaimers updated and visible)
  • Prepare Popcorn, Slush, etc., according to quality standards set and inform on all deviations on quality standards
  • Assist in shift preparation in area where required
  • Manage the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to ensure that guest experiences is not compromised
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, all kitchen equipment and surrounding areas, including counter areas
  • Ensure storerooms are within standards set, and fumigation takes place when required
  • Prepare and store prepared products properly
  • Submit H&S reports according to required schedules
  • Adhere to correct uniform and preparation standards at all times

Requirements

  • Matric
  • 0 – 1 years work experience in a similar role
  • MS Office Suite (Basic) VISTA/MYCC advantageous
