About the Role

The People Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of employee relations within our organisation, working closely with various stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address employee relations professionally, consistently, fairly, and with empathy
  • Develop and implement Social Labour Plans (SLP) where necessary
  • Utilise HR information systems (Sage 300 and BEE123) to manage HR data and processes
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable Legislation relevant to HRM
  • Provide support for travel to various operations as required

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferably a degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working experience
  • Valid drivers license and own transport
  • Knowledge and experience with Employment Equity
  • Ability to address employee relations professionally, consistently, fairly, and with empathy
