About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function for our distinguished collection of luxury accommodation properties in Cape Town. As a strategic, creative, and commercially driven professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, driving brand growth, and delivering impactful, integrated marketing strategies within a premium or luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
- Drive brand positioning, visibility, and market share across all properties
- Translate commercial goals into effective, measurable campaigns
- Agency Management & Performance
- Lead and manage relationships with external agencies (creative, digital, PR, media buying)
- Brief, guide, and evaluate agencies to ensure delivery against brand standards and KPIs
- Oversee campaign execution across digital, social, content, and traditional platforms
- Monitor performance, optimise spend, and ensure strong ROI across all initiatives
- Brand & Campaign Execution
- Ensure consistent brand identity and storytelling across all touchpoints
- Oversee the development of high-quality content, campaigns, and guest-facing communications
- Drive innovative marketing initiatives that enhance the guest experience and brand perception
- Digital & Commercial Focus
- Oversee digital marketing performance including website, SEO, paid media, and social channels
- Collaborate with revenue and sales teams to support occupancy and revenue targets
- Analyse data and insights to inform decision-making and campaign optimisation
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner closely with internal teams, including operations, sales, and executive leadership
- Present marketing strategies, performance reports, and insights to key stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between brand vision and on-property execution
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands
- Proven experience managing multiple external agencies and driving performance outcomes
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing, digital platforms, and brand management
