About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Implementation Consultant to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As a key member of our implementation and optimization team, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful deployment and ongoing support of our software for our clients. You will work closely with experienced consultants and client teams to ensure seamless deployments, provide expert technical support, and contribute to continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of our software, assisting in system configuration, testing, and deployment based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their supply chain challenges and help tailor solutions using our tools.
- Build strong relationships with clients by addressing their needs, advising on best practices, and ensuring that our software’s capabilities are fully leveraged to optimize their inventory and demand planning processes.
- Assist in delivering training sessions for clients on system functionalities, customizations, and best practices. Create and maintain clear documentation for client-specific configurations and customizations.
- Contribute to project coordination, helping track timelines, deliverables, and communication between internal and client teams to ensure that client projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Collect feedback from clients to drive improvements in both the product and the implementation process.
- Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise in the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations and consultations.
- Stay up to date with supply chain trends and our company’s evolving product features to better support clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management or a related industry. Previous experience with demand planning and inventory optimization tools is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL for system customization.
- A solid understanding of supply chain concepts and the ability to apply our company’s tools in a variety of industries.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work effectively with a proactive attitude within a team, collaborating with colleagues from different functions including sales, support, and development teams.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve client issues efficiently.
- Willingness to travel as required to support client needs.
