Job Description

Luxury Lodge based in the Cederberg is looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Chef to join their kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is eager to learn, develop their culinary skills, and grow within a professional hospitality environment. Duties: Assist the Chef with daily food preparation and service. Prepare ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and standards. Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. Assist with stock control, food storage, and kitchen organization. Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations. Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods. Requirements Culinary qualification or relevant kitchen experience. Passion for cooking and willingness to learn. Ability to work under pressure. Good teamwork and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Benefits & Staff Accommodation Salary – negotiable depending on experience Staff accommodation available on the property. Daily staff meals provided whilst on duty. Uniform – 50% shared costs with company Free Wi-Fi Work cycle – 21 days on / 7 days off
