About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a skilled Centurion: Draughtsman to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality piping design drawings and supporting cost/quantity estimating. You will work closely with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to deliver project deliverables on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce piping design drawings including general arrangements, elevations, sections, and detailed isometrics.
- Prepare accurate Material TakeOffs (MTOs) and support cost/quantity estimating.
- Report design progress directly to engineers and support project deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams.
- Check, backcheck, and correct manual and digital drawings and isometric packages.
- Incorporate engineer feedback into updated drawings.
- Prepare, revise, and redraught drawings alongside engineering personnel.
- Develop complete and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Perform 3D piping modeling and design work.
- Interpret technical documentation including P&IDs.
- Work within Autodesk Vault and Content Centre using Inventor and Plant 3D.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Piping Draughtsman in engineering, mining, EPC/EPCM, or industrial plant environments.
- Strong command of Autodesk Inventor, Plant 3D, and Vault.
- Ability to produce accurate layouts, isometrics, and 3D piping models.
- Sound understanding of piping standards, P&IDs, and engineering documentation.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
