About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centurion: Finance & Compliance Officer to join our team at Stonebridge HR Solutions. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for supporting the CFO and finance team with financial reporting and audit preparation, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Support CFO and finance team with financial reporting and audit preparation
- Assist with management accounts, reconciliations, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate information requests from auditors and advisors
- Maintain corporate governance records, policies, and statutory filings
- Support board and committee compliance documentation
- Track regulatory and Companies Act compliance items
- Maintain and update Risk Registers under management guidance
- Assist with risk identification workshops and documentation
- Track mitigation actions and reporting
- Coordinate B-BBEE documentation and verification support
- Assist during financial and BEE audits
- Support ESG data collection, reporting, and compliance tracking
Requirements
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in finance, compliance, audit, risk, or governance roles
- Exposure to finance, compliance, audit, risk, or governance roles
- Working knowledge of BEE requirements and audit processes
- ESg exposure advantageous but not essential
- Drivers license and own transport
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Com / B.Compt) or similar qualification
- Relevant experience in finance, compliance, audit, risk, or governance roles
